AutoCAD 2D

AutoCAD is the most widely used CAD (Computer Aided Design) software. The first version of AutoCAD was released in 1982.  In those days AutoCAD was the only CAD program, for all intents and purposes. Even today, when there are dozens of different CAD programs, knowledge of AutoCAD is still mandatory since there are millions of AutoCAD users worldwide and many legacy projects still require AutoCAD.

AutoCAD is arguably the best choice in the drafting industry for companies that gather architects, civil and mechanical engineers, project managers, city planners, and other professionals. It could be said that AutoCAD is the only major CAD program for technical documentation creation that can be used by all engineering professionals and even more, with a satisfactory level of efficiency.

AutoCAD is fully customizable program that allows each user to simplify everyday drafting tasks. Also, support for macros and scripts enables users to automate their specific workflows.

Due to a huge number of tools and options, it's not always straightforward to find the best method to take the advantage of all the possibilities offered by AutoCAD. Therefore, most of the AutoCAD users do not utilize  the full potential of this program. This course will help you to gain all the important skills to be able to create professional technical documentation. Additionally, you'll learn some tricks that will save you lots of time in your efforts to address some typical problems met by AutoCAD users worldwide.

This course is in compliance with Autodesk Official Training Courseware. If you want to become Autodesk Certified Professional this course might be your first and the most important step in reaching this goal.
