Mad Head Games and Crater VFX Training Center have created 3D course for everyone who wants to enhance their knowledge and kick-start their carrier in ever growing video games industry.

Mad head Games is a synonym for a creator of effervescent and exciting video games and one of the leading HOPA developers. Everyone interested in creating environment for HOPA/adventure video games will be able to learn more about work processes through theory and practice - the focus of the course will be to provide you with technical knowledge and enhance artistic approach through concept art analysis, modeling, lighting, all the way to the final post-production render-ready for over paint. Through this 2 day course and consultations with teachers, students will acquire all necessary practical knowledge applicable in creating video games.

Sanja Losic i Emil Esov, Mad Head Games' producers with great experience in video games industry will be your teachers on this course.

Program: 


Day 1 | Week 1

  • 30 mins - Getting acquainted with Mad Head Games Studio and work processes on HOPA games
  • 30 mins - Choosing modeling references - inspecting and analysing quality of references
  • 2h - Exercise: Basic scene setting, frame, basic geometry, defining plans
  • 30 mins - Feedback
  • 2h 30 mins - Exercise: Modeling and defining scene details


Break: 7 days

  • Homework: Finishing scene model. Starting with texturing and lighting if desired.


Day 2 | Week 2

  • 30 mins - Homework presentation and feedback
  • 2h - Excercise: Scene texturing 
  • 30 mins - Feedback 
  • 2h - Excercise: Lighting and rendering
  • 1h - Analysis of the final exercise, closing work
