Teen Camp - Multimedia
CAMP IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE
Teen Camp - Multimedia
Multimedia Teen Camp at Crater Training Center is intended for teens aged 13 to 17, and it takes place during the summer break. During two weeks of multimedia camp, our youngest students will take part in creative workshops, make friends and create original multimedia content each day.
The camp is an excellent opportunity for kids to try out some of the most relevant computer graphics software. Attendees will also learn the principles of photography, videography, animation, directing, fundamental art principles, and post-production. The program also includes practical work for attendees to get first-hand insights into the process of developing creative content, from the initial concept to the final video design.
Besides the mentioned, we offer movie screenings in our cinema, a tour of the Crater Studio, an introduction to the production environment and visual effects artists, visits to the city’s cultural institutions, art workshops, and other activities. After attending the camp, children could see their place in creative industries and other future vocations, bringing together technology and creativity.
Don’t be surprised if your child returns from the camp expressing interest in becoming a digital artist, video game designer, sound engineer, visual effects supervisor, animator, motion graphics artist, or something entirely different but equally exciting.
This summer in our center, teens will experience a string of amusing and interactive lectures and become familiar with the basics of working in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere – but also with the history of film and visual effects.
A segment of the summer camp program will focus on classical painting, which will help the attendees gain and refresh the universally applicable knowledge of composition, fundamental techniques, and colors.
The multimedia summer camp is largely focused on practical work. Aside from computer graphics and editing, the attendees will also deal with photography, video recording, and drawing concepts for different short formats.
The accompanying activities partially take place outside of the Center facilities, which allows us to plan visits to museums, cultural institutions, and city parks.
One two-week cycle of the camp includes:
- Interactive lectures on the mentioned subjects
- Practical work creating original video
- Painting workshops
- Visits to cultural institutions
- Outdoor activities
- Film projections at the Crater’s cinema
- A tour of the Crater Studio
- Daily meals (optional)
After the camp, each student will receive a certificate of attendance at Multimedia Teen Camp provided by Crater Training

The school started as an extension to Crater Studio, one of Serbia’s most successful studios for visual effects and animation in film and television. The team has over 15 years of experience under its belt.
Our school is known for nurturing Serbia’s creative community and giving support to anybody eager to learn new skills. Over the years, we have organized many activities for children and high school students. They include open door days, as well as various events and conferences, both live and online.
One of our many goals is to introduce creative professions in computer graphics to young people. The knowledge and skills they gain at the Crater Training Center will most likely help them direct their interests. Over time, they will be ready to pinpoint the profession they would like to pursue in the future.
