Join Us in Making Video Games in the Name of Science on Game Development Summer Internship Program

Crater Training Center is on the quest to find the best young artists and developers to join the upcoming Game Development Summer Internship Program. The internship will train young talents in game development while working on a unique project that tackles the history of X-rays!

Interns will be divided into two teams made of three members (Game Designer, Game Developer, and 2D Artist). Each team will design and develop a unique 2D game that should be ready for display at the exhibition dedicated to the X-ray development in Serbia. The event will take place at Belgrade’s Museum of Science and Technology in October 2021.

Winners of the Game Design Bootcamp by Nordeus Hub will lead the teams as Game Designers, while the Crater Training Center experts will choose the other participants. We are currently looking for two artists and two developers to apply for the program. Experience in Unity or Unreal Engine is required for developers, while proficiency in Photoshop or similar 2D programs is a must for artists.

Game Development Summer Internship is a great opportunity for beginners in gaming to gain valuable experience, but also to connect with mentors, other trainees, and industry seniors. Finally, after finishing the program, all participants will boost their portfolios with a truly unique project. In addition to this, interns will get a chance to see firsthand the process of creating a video game trailer by VFX experts from Crater.

Game Development Summer Internship Program will take place every working day from June 22 to August 22, 2021, in Crater Training Center (Knićaninova 3, Donji Dorćol, Belgrade). Participation in the program is free, and the organizers provide all the necessary technical equipment and mentors.

Applications are open until June 16. We will notify the most successful candidates about the outcome of the competition by June 18. If you wish to apply for the position for the internship but don’t speak Serbian, contact us via
